Biography
Over the past thirty years Cosimo Lampis has been active throughout Europe and the USA as a member of many internationally known bands and has played with a lot of renowned artists: Toad, Brainticket, David Bowie, Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), Vivian Reed, Eddie Martinez (Tito Puente), Victor Mendoza, Joe Porcaro, Emil Richards, Lisa Hunt (Zucchero) and many other bands and stars around the world.
Cosimo has a strong interest in ethnology and world music, having traveled and studied extensively in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Cuba (Conjunto Folklorico), thereby gathering a vast compendium of knowledge on the music of many cultures.
